Admission Requirements for Environmental Health in NOUN.
To be eligible for the NOUN B.Sc. Environmental Health program, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:
General Requirements to Study Environmental Health in NOUN:
- Five credit passes in WASCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Health Science (within two sittings).
Direct Entry (200 Level):
- In addition to the above, you may qualify through:
- A Diploma in Environmental Health Technician from a recognized College of Health Technology.
- A valid practice permit from the Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHORECON).
Direct Entry (300 Level):
- Hold a valid EHORECON license and possess any of the following:
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Environmental Health Technology.
- The Public Health Inspector’s Diploma of the Royal Society of Health (RSH) or West Africa Health Examination Board (WAHEB) Diploma for Public Health Superintendents.
Concessionary Admission (300 Level):
- Mature candidates (45 years and above) with relevant experience and lacking the O’Level requirements may be considered for special admission.
