National Open University Public Health Admission Requirements:
To be eligible for the NOUN B.Sc. Public Health programs, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- At least five (5) credit passes in your Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE/NECO/GCE) examinations in English Language, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics or any other science subject. These passes must be obtained within a maximum of two sittings.
- An additional qualification from a health-related discipline, such as;
- a Community Health Officer Training Certificate (CHO),
- NCE (Physical/Health Education, Science Education, Nutrition, Home Economics)
- Health Superintendent,
- Registered Nurse (RN),
- Physiology,
- Medical Laboratory Science, etc.
- HND holders with upper credit are eligible for admission, with one year of post-qualification experience required.
Please Note: Admission directly to 100 level is not available. All successful applicants will begin their studies in 200 level.
