NOUN Postgraduate Admission Requirements:

To be eligible for admission into any of the postgraduate programs at NOUN, you must meet the following requirements:

First degree or HND: 

You must have a minimum of a first degree (second class lower) for a Master’s or HND for a PGD in a related field.

O-Level credits: 

You must have at least five (5) O-Level credits, including English Language and at least a pass in Mathematics.

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes:

Candidates must possess either a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN OR a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit. For the Postgraduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting, the candidate must have been called to the Bar. Also for admission into the School of Business and Human Resource Management Postgraduate Diploma programmes,

Master’s Degree Programmes:

Candidates must possess either a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of second class lower in the relevant field of study from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN. However, holders of lower classification OR a Postgraduate Diploma in a related field of study from a recognised University.

Doctor of Philosophy Degree Programmes:

Candidates must possess a master’s degree in the relevant field of study from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN with a minimum score average of not less than 60% or a cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 on a 5-point scale. How to Apply for NOUN Postgraduate Admission Form.

In order to apply for the NOUN postgraduate admission form,

1. Create an account: Visit the NOUN application portal and create an account at https://www.nouonline.net/ OR https://spgs.nou.edu.ng/.
2. Select a Faculty: Choose the programme so that the View Requirement button is enabled. Clicking this button will reveal the corresponding entry requirement and enable the Apply button on the pre-payment application page.
3. Purchase an access code: Purchase an access code for N3,500.00 via REMITA. An applicant who pays online using a payment card will automatically obtain the online form which must be filled out before submission. Meanwhile, applicants who pay through a bank branch must click on Continue after payment… and enter their Unique ID and RRR. They are also given the opportunity to change the Programme applied for.
4. Complete the online application form: Complete the online application form and upload all required documents.
5. Upload Required Documents: Upload scanned copies of your academic transcripts, certificates, and other relevant documents.
6. Submit your application: Submit your application and download your acknowledgement form.
7. Make payment: Make payment for your application form. You can pay online using a payment card or through a bank branch.
8. Print your application form and admission letter: Print your application form and admission letter and bring them to your chosen Study Centre for verification by an Admin Officer.
