Introduction: NDA 76th Regular Course Admission.

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) is one of the most prestigious military institutions in Africa. It offers a five-year regular course degree programme that combines military training with academic studies. Upon successful completion of the programme, cadets are awarded a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Engineering (BEng), or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, as well as a commission into the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

  • Online application portal opens: Monday, 30 October 2023
  • The online application portal closes: on Wednesday, 30 April 2024
  • Screening test: Saturday, 25 May 2024

Eligibility criteria:

  • Be a single male or female Nigerian citizen without legal obligations to any dependents.
  • Be between the ages of 17 and 21 as of August 2024.
  • Possess at least 5 O-level credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics.
  • Meet JAMB’s required standards for the UTME.
  • Adhere to height requirements: 1.68m for males and 1.65m for females.

Application procedure:

  1. Visit the NDA application portal @ https://www.ndaapplications.net/ and create an account.
  2. Purchase an access code (a Remita Reference Number (RRR)) for N3,500.00 via REMITA.
  3. Complete the online application form and upload all required documents.
  4. Submit your application and download your acknowledgement form.

  • Be a Nigerian citizen
  • Be medically and physically fit
  • Be of good moral character
  • Be between the ages of 17 and 21 as of August 2024

Screening test:

The screening test is a computer-based test that assesses candidates’ general knowledge, English language skills, and quantitative reasoning skills. Candidates who pass the screening test will be invited to participate in the second phase of the admission process, which is conducted by the Armed Forces Selection Board.

Screening Test Day:

  • Screening Test Admission Card
  • JAMB result slip
  • TWO 3.5 x 5-inch postcard-sized photographs
